Captain Fire 197 – Clean Slate
Kolaween Space Station
Quadrant 12
As it turned out, saving that Rogue Medical Crew ended up being a big enough deal to where the Federation basically wiped Captain Fire’s Record clean…
Not only that, the Federation, after signing numerous Contracts with varying Militia Forces, were able to waylay the Turens away from Cliqo 1… And so their Dondo Crytal Mines were safe.
For now…
Per the Federations request, we brought the Medical Crew to the Kolaween Space Station in Quadrant 12… There they would meet with Federation Representatives, who would determine where they would go next.
Though I had learned a lot in a short amount of time from Iona about Medical Care etc… And though flying throughout space trying to help the people who had taken a blow from the Turens did seem somewhat… Appealing… In a healing, full circle kind of way.
The truth was, I had, had enough of the Turens… It was time to move on with my life.
And so the Crew had parted ways with us, but Captain Fire suggested that we take a couple days rest here in Quadrant 12.
And that’s when Jono approached me.
“Hello Nisho…” I was in a food place, sipping on a sweet drink when he showed up.
“Hello Jono…” I replied.
“May I sit down?” he asked.
“Of course…” he then pulled up a stool next to me, as I was sitting at the counter.
“I wondered if… You might like to spend some time together during the next couple of days… You know… Get to know one another…” he spoke so low I could hardly hear him.
“Uhh… Sure?” I questioned, why did I question it, typical me behavior.
“Great…” he then leaped up, I suppose he ignored the fact that I was kind of asking him why we were going to hang out. Though, he had basically said why… To get to know one another.
And he was gone.
And so I returned to the room that Captain Fire had assigned to me, I shared it with Jenna who seemed lost in thought as I entered.
“Everything alright Jenna?” I questioned.
She turned to me and replied “Oh yes… Just clearing my head a bit”.
It was at that point that I noticed that she had several candles lit around the room.
“Jono asked me–” I started to speak, but she cut me off.
“Oh yes I know… He had spoke to me about it… I think it’s a good thing” she replied
“You suggested it then?” I asked her.
“Oh no… It was his idea… I merely agreed with him that it might be a good idea… Being he had been losing sleep over you… Oh, I guess I shouldn’t have told you that” she smiled slightly.
I smiled back.
“Ok then… I’m not sure when this time together is going to start–” I was interrupted again, this time by Jono entering the room.
“Ready??” he asked.
I looked at Jenna who smiled, and Jono and I were off…
Jono and I spent the next two days wandering around the Space Station, which was huge… And basically talking about, nothing too important… It was fun, and cool.
Little did I know that when we’d all gather two days later for departure from the Kolaween Space Station, Jenna will have disappeared…
