From High Atop This Pyramid of Light
I start to sink…
And fall
All that I grasp for…
Pulls away
I thought you loved me…

Pain shoots through me…
Like Dark Rain through My Veins…
The lights darken…
The Ground Hardens…
The Impact impairs My Heart…
I Claw and Scratch the surface around me…
But you kick sand my way
Treat me like some Pariah…
As you stray
But I am strong…
And I shall Rise
These Wings of mine…
Shall Reach the sky
