I’d like to Thank Paige Addams over @ Paige Addams for Nominating My Blog for the “One Lovely Blog Award”

After Blogging over a Year now, it is a bit trickier coming up with 7 things, but I shall try, Lol

1) My Dad (who I didn’t grow up with, but saw several times a year) was born in New York… When I was 32 I took my Dad with me to New York (Where I had never been, but had always wanted to go) to see My Short Film at a Film Festival there. We caught a Stage Production of “Phantom of the Opera” there, and it was a great trip.

2) Though I was very shy as a kid, I was in 6 Theater Productions when I was a Teenager over 3 years, and 3 more in my late twenties. 5 of these were Shakespeare Plays, 3 Children’s Plays, and one was a Radio Show Version of “A Christmas Carol”. I prefer Writing, and Directing over Acting though.

3) In the Production of Hamlet I was in, the Actress who played Ophelia used to be a Pink Power Ranger on T.V., Lol… But I guess they changed those Actors all of the time.

4) My Favorite Dinosaur as a kid was a Brontosaurus, BUT NOW THEY SAY THEY NEVER EXISTED!! Lol I believe they found out they had the wrong head on it or something, and renamed it, Lol… I forget

5) When I was a kid I saw the movie “Vacation”, and the whole defensive line of the ‘Raiders’ was there, Lol For those of you that are familiar with Football, it’s an Oakland Team, that was in Los Angeles for a bit.

6) Cats are my favorite Animal… Tigers kind of are, but don’t tell my Cat, Lol

7) On that note, Tigger is my Favorite “Winnie The Poo” Character, Lol… Though I don’t really care for “Whiney The Poo

It must be Award Season! Yes, I’m back one day later with Another Award from My Very Good Friend Veeh Cirra

On With The Award…

7 things about myself That I “Haven’t” Blogged About (Ahhh, I Blog About Everything!!” Lol

1) – Back when I was in Orthopedic Brace Sales in the Late 90′s, My Boss would sometimes say to me in the Morning (We started at like 6am), “Hey You Want McDonalds, “You Fly, I’ll Buy”" Meaning he’d buy us Breakfast if I drove to get it… Which I certainly didn’t mind, it meant getting out of the Office (even though I had just gotten there, Lol… Still good to leave), and of course Free Food… But one time he asked me, I said “Can I take your Car?” and he said sure and tossed me his Keys… Oh Yeah, Dark Metallic Green Convertible Corvette… Thing felt like The Bat Mobile, Lol

2) -I was Always Afraid of The Steep Hills on Roller Coasters (I Loved Fast Ones, but Not Steep Hills/Drops), until I was 16, and a Cute Girl that I had just met talked me into going on the Colossus, Lol After that, I could pretty much Ride Any Roller Coaster without Fear, Lol

3) - My First Kitty/Cat when I was a Kid was Named Black Widow… She Lived for a long time, but when she finally disappeared, I went on Our Roof and Cried.

4) – I Don’t Like Zoos… The Animals are Amazing, but something just Feels Wrong about it… I am Glad that it Protects some Endangered Animals, but… It Especially bugs me to see Tigers Behind Bars… They are My Favorite Animal, and it just feels Wrong… But that’s just me

5) – I used to Play Monopoly Over The Phone Sometimes when I was a Kid, with a Specific Friend of Mine (Actually he was My Best Friend)… When he was too Lazy to Walk to My House (It was up many hills, grew up in a Hilly/Canyon Area), and I was too Lazy to Walk Back up after a Game, Lol So we’d just play on the Phone… The Cool thing was that we trusted each other enough not to cheat, which is pretty rare…

6) – I was Good at Dodge Ball… Most people Tried to Dodge The Ball, I’d Try and Catch it, and generally would… Throwing it Right Back at the Unsuspecting Thrower… In that Respect I was a Good Goalie (Wow, didn’t know Goalie was Spelled that way, Lol… Always thought it was “Goaly”) too in P.E. Soccer, Lol

7) – I’m the only person I know that wouldn’t want to Win The Lottery… Call me Crazy, I Prefer to Earn My Own Money

Quill Wielder – Quill is The Only Writer I know that may Write More than me, Lol… Her Site has Tons of “Writer Tools”, that most People wouldn’t take the time to Look Up… And with Quill, you don’t need to, she Basically does it for you, Lol And She’s Such a Damn Inspired Writer, From Screenplays, to Novels, To Blog Posts, to Tweets… Which is why I brought her onto The Dark Globe Early on, though I had just found her Site… And now she is one of our 3 Assistant Editors.

La Plume Noire – My All Time Favorite Photography Blogs, and One of My Two Over All Favorite Blogs Period. Kirsty’s Blog Impressed me so much, that when I finally got her to Join us over on The Dark Globe, I made her an Assistant Editor Immediately, Lol… She is Brilliant, and Talented, in fact She even Helps me with Upgrading the Look of The Dark Globe, and has Designed Two of My Future Self Published Books Covers. She is also going into her own Business Now, so Definitely Check out Her Site.

The Insanity Aquarium - My All Time Favorite Writing Blog… I can’t say enough about Anna, Her Writing is Dark, and Enchanting… And she has also Always been one of My Most Encouraging Followers.

Danny’s Kitchen - Danny’s Blog is just Awesome… Not only is He a Talented Chef, but he’s also a Great Guy… And often does Videos of Himself Cooking… But more than that, He Includes a Puppet in his Videos Now which is Hilarious… And He Promises me that the Fact that his Puppet is Named “DJ” is Absolutely a Coincidence, Lol… And I “Kinda” Believe Him, Lol

Warren Lawson Architect – I actually do some Work for one of the Most Passionate, Intelligent Artists I’ve ever Met… And that is My Mom’s Boyfriend of 30+ years, who went to College to Study Art, then switched over to Architecture… His New Blog, which is Attached to his Main Site… Check out his Projects Page on His Main Site if you get a Chance… And his Blog

It’s Been a little while since I Received an Award, so I thought I’d Throw This one up…

Seven Things:

7 Things eh… Hmm

1) – I’m Irish From Both My Mom, and Dad’s Side… Along with French, Russian and Belgium from My Mom… And Scottish and Welsh from My Dad… But I was Born in Southern California, U.S.A., which makes me American, Lol

2) – Han Solo was My Favorite Character in Star Wars when I was a Kid, right along with Darth Vader… Who is My All Time Favorite Villain.

3) – My First Dream was to be a Professional Baseball Player… A Pitcher to be More Specific. But I never really Pursued it, mostly because my Mom was a Single Parent, and I just didn’t think she’d have time to drive me to Practices… Partly because we grew up in a Canyon Area, far away from anything.

4) – I Wrote, Directed and Narrated a Children’s Play for a Youth Group back in 1998, which was Awesome.

5) – Though I’m Not an Actor, and have never wanted to be, I’ve Acted in 5 Shakespeare Plays, 3 Children’s Plays and The Christmas Carol… I do Love Theater Acting, but only got into it because My Brother convinced me to with him, as Being a Professional Actor was his Dream.

6) – My Dad Remarried over in Arizona when I was very young, and My Brother and I used to Fly there for a Week or Two Every Summer, and around Christmas.

7) – On My 13th Birthday, I went to an Amusement Park Called Magic Mountain, where they had a Section for Carnival Like Games… One of the Games was where you Squirt the High Pressured Squirt Gun and Make The Plastic Gorillas Go Up a pole… You compete vs. others… The First Gorilla up, wins… I Won 87 out of 92 Games, and they kept making me switch Guns, Lol… Ended up Walking Around the Park the rest of the day with Three 5 Foot Tall Stuffed Bananas, and let my Friends carry them so people would think they won them, Lol… Definitely had a “Pitcher’s” Eye, Lol

Second to Shannon @ Isle of Books who just today gave me The Versatile Blogger Award… Shannon is a True Talent, and is Extremely Passionate about All Things Literature, and I Admire Her for it… She has also recently Joined Us over at The Dark Globe as a Book Reviewer, and whatever else she Might Contribute to The Site.

Third J.C.V. @ 365 Days to be Published Also Awarded me The Sunshine Award. J.C.V. is a Long Time Follower of The Written Word, and one of My Most Frequent “Like” ‘rs, lol… And I Truly Appreciate the Encouragement and Support she’s given me, and The Written Word.

7 Things About Me;

1) Being a Professional Baseball Player (Pitcher) was My First Dream

2) I Grew Up with a Single Mom, My Brother and My Mom’s Boyfriend who she’s been with for 30 Years (I have two Older Sisters, but they weren’t around much)

3) My First Pet at the Age of 4 or 5 was a Gold Fish Named George

4) My Favorite Car as a Kid was a 1966-67 Corvette

5) My 2nd Dream Was to be a Film Maker ever since I saw the Original 1977 Star Wars in The Theater as a very Young Kid (Pursued it 2000-2003, then shifted to Screenplay Writing 2003-2005 and now Poetry, Novels and Hopefully Comic Books 2011-2012)

6) I have 3 Nephews, ages 10, 13 (My Brother’s Boys), and 29 (One of My Older Sister’s Sons that she had Very Young)

7) I Want to Be Santa when I Get Older, lol It’s True, Being Immortal, Eating All The Cookies I could ever want, Living in The Show, and Making and Giving Presents to Kids All Over The World would just be the Best Gig in The World, lol

As I Have Received and Given Several Awards Since I Started Blogging in August Last Year, I shall Spare The People’s I Follows Blog’s From Giving Them an Award… As I have Given Several in the Past to them, and I know That Sometimes they don’t have Time to Partake.

But I will say Every Single Blog on My Blog Roll is Worth Not Only Checking Out, but Following… There are some Brilliant, and Talented People Out There.
