Shooting Star

What is your Shooting Star… That thing that you think of when you wake. That hope. That vision. That Dream… When I was very little, I wanted to be a Professional Baseball player. By 8 or 9, a Film Maker.  As a teen and beyond, to fall in love. Life is funny, and can throw many unexpected things at you. I never became a Professional Baseball player, instead I enjoyed movies like “Fields of Dreams” and “The Natural”… I was going to try out for baseball in 9th Grade, but was given the wrong date, and so missed the try outs by a week. I did make the try outs in 10th Grade, but did not make the team. When I was in my twenties, I was on our company softball team, I wasn’t a Pitcher like my Dream, but I was a Catcher. It was great. I was fast. And now I am an avid New York Yankee’s fan. I have an autographed Robinson Cano baseball bat by the side of my bed. If you don’t know who that is, he’s the Yank’s 2nd Baseman, and he’s very good. And when I got married, instead of a Bachelor’s Party, I took my Dad, her Dad, my Mom’s Boyfriend, who is like a Dad to me and one of my Sister’s Husband to an Angel Game. I bought a ball there.

When I was 31 my Dream to be a Film Maker went something like this Film Making.

Film Making

And Love, that went something like this Love Lost

Love

But what are my Dreams now. I feel as though I’ve attained my Dreams up to this point. What Shooting Stars still await me… What Shooting Stars await you?

What Does The Future Hold...

I suppose time will tell.
