Part I

Part II

I thought I had it all…

Who Knows

Maybe I did…

Maybe I Still do

                                               Jacob Fade-

===============================================================

Is it really over…

No

Is it really broken…

No

Is there hope…

There is the now

And I suggest you be in it if you can

Be in the now…

Watch the stars, not the thoughts dancing around in your head

No matter how alluring

Feel the sand beneath your feet

There is blood pumping within you right now

Feel the blood

Know that it is there

Take in deeper breaths

It lengthens your life…

Literally

Unless you’re hit by a bus…

Don’t be hit by a bus

PART III – INSIDE

A SNOWY MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY

THE CABIN HOME OF JACOB FADE, ILLUSTRATOR AND WRITER

It’s been four days since I have begun profusely drawing…

Prudently removing the images within my head, and placing them firmly into existence upon my blank page

I am alone

But isn’t that the point

I say that like it’s a bad thing

Others aren’t put here for our enjoyment

Yes, it is good, and it is normal to take, and/or experience pleasure and joy from another’s company

The truth is, they owe us nothing

No one does

Even a parent owes us nothing

Yes, they are responsible for bringing us into this world

And yes, it is normal that they might take some joy and pleasure in the mere fact that we exist

But that is it

They owe us nothing

Take pause…

I have a feeling that so many people would disagree with this

Let me say this

Yes, it is their cultural responsibility to provide for us

And yes, the law indicates they must do so until we are the age of 18

But these are manmade things

What is not manmade, is our primal instincts

The reality is, our primal instincts are to provide and protect our children

Why?

Sometimes love

Sometimes ego

Sometimes morality

Jacob stops mid thought when he realizes that his abstract images which have filled his pages for days, have now formulated one singular image

A drawing of a church

“Damn…”
