Our Fourth Session ended within the Green Tower and the Party’s dinner with the High Druid Jarothh.

It’s hard to believe a week had gone by, but here we were together again as we prepared to begin Session 5.

“Let’s begin,” spoke Johnny.

The next morning the Party prepared to continue the journey north, north west, to the Uncharted lands of THAEN…

…As opposed to being revitalized by their slumber, the group had a bit of a somber tone/feeling to it.

The conversation with Jarothh had left everyone a bit pensive.

And so they quietly continued into the hills north of the Green Tower.

After a few hours, Kinner broke out his fiddle, and started to sing.

“From Despa He Came… To Broaden His Flock… To Bring Light To Those, Who Had It Not…”

With this, Zahn started to laugh, followed quickly by the others… Even the seemingly stone faced Barbarian, Faren.

As nightfall fell on the 11th day of their journey from Jor, Zahn decided to double each watch…

Instead of one, there would be two of them.

Perhaps he thought this would lower the chances of another guard kidnapping…

On First Guard would be Stigus and Faren…

Second Guard Chi and Ren and Third Watch would be Kinner and Tor-Atimus.

During the first watch Faren suddenly stood…

“There’s someone out there,” he spoke.

Stigus stands as well, and gazes around the camp.

“I can’t see anything,” she spoke.

“Over there, behind the rocks,” with this he drew his Great Axe.

Faren could just barely make out two grey cloaked and hooded figures with short bows, and as one of them looked to shoot, he dropped his great axe, and hurled a hand axe from his side, striking the man right in the chest…

…the man fell to the ground.

The second man, upset about his partner, yells, then shoots his arrow, which strikes Faren in the shoulder.

Stigus, now seeing the second hooded man, draws back her long bow, and shoots him in the throat…

…both are dead.

Faren pulls the arrow out of his shoulder, “Little bastard,” and kneels down by the bodies.

Meanwhile half the camp has awoken.

“Robbers… They were probably after the horses,” speaks Faren.

“Here,” speaks Zahn who places one of his hands over Faren’s wounded shoulder, and a great golden white light glows around it.

In moments the wound is completely healed.

Faren looks at Zahn and nods.

Zahn slightly smiles, “Chi and Ren, I do believe it’s your watch,” speaks Zahn as he heads back to his sleeping blanket.
