CHAPTER XXV – Session 14

Session 14 was about to begin, as we all got, and ate our food.

In our last Session, our Party had arrived in the Eastern City Port of Avador…

“Alright, lets begin,” spoke Johnny.

Right off the bat as we entered Avador, I could tell Z was on edge…

The City Guard seemed to be derived of Dwarves, which had seemed to catch his interest.

“What is it Z?” I asked.

“Dwarves generally aren’t too friendly towards Blu Hobs (Half Hobgoblin, Half Blue Orc),” he spoke.

We could see right away that this place was nothing like the Capital City of Tru.

First of all, there were maybe 1/4 of the inhabitants, and like I say, it felt very Dwarvish/Barbaric, with mainly wooden structures, as opposed to stone.

The first tavern we came across was quite large, called ‘THE ROWDY MINOTAUR…

The folk going in and out looked pretty rough, and very Northern…

The icy peaks of Rhet seemed to make its’ cold down to the city, so inhabitants dressed appropriately.

We entered the tavern and got a table in the middle, as there were no corner ones available.

Ther were many Dwarves, Barbarians, Fighers and some Rangers within…

…including Kayen, who sat at the bar, and nodded at we came in.

“I suspect there’s no ‘Mage Tower’ in Avador,” I spoke.

“Maybe not…” replied Chi.

Meanwhile, Laris ordered us all some ale, wine and food.

“This is my kind of place,” spoke Stryke, her Barbarian blood lit up.

“If I”m lucky, maybe I’ll get into a bar brawl by nights end…” she added.

“I’m going to sleep early,” spoke Kinner.

“I suspect any card games in here may end in my demise,” he concluded, then was off to get a room in the Inn upstairs.

Laris, Thalo, Chi, Z, Stryke and myself spent several hours eating, drinking and laughing.

Until four City Guards entered the tavern, one of them seeming to be gesturing towards Z.

“Time for me to leave,” Z spoke, and headed towards the back kitchen exit…

…followed by the four guard.
