Chapter I – Heart Eclipse

You Shouldn’t Let Her Affect You This Way…

She Is One Woman… And There Are So Many

Especially, For An Immotal

Nathaniel Barok, of the Vampire Clan Barok, sits atop a cliff looking over the crashing waves of the sea below…

The night is pitch… And a Storm is coming

THE HESTON ESTATE

Within the bedroom chamber of Boris Heston the III, Mariah, her long dark black hair down her back… Her night clothes drop from her flawless, fare skin… Her lips, red, her breath is cold…

She approaches Boris’s bed, as he lays there half drunk…

“You are fantastic…” he speaks slurring…

She half grins, as her dark eyes go black, then red…

Boris Heston is never seen again.

LONDON

A young girl, Layla, just 22 years of age, makes her way home through the cold mist of the night…

She pulls her long coat closely… Though she is poor, she has one good coat, and it is needed on this night.

Many boys, and men whistle and try to get her attention as she passes by… They can not see her form, but still they seem to know that she is very attractive…

Attractive… And miserable.

She arrives at her flat, climbs two levels of stairs, turns the key and enters her place.

She throws her jacket on the floor, and heads into the restroom.

Looking in the mirror, her eyes are bloodshot from crying…

But for what reason, she doesn’t even know…

All she knows is her world… Her inner world… Is crumbling

And she just doesn’t have much left to give.

She opens the medicine cabinet, and stares at all the bottles of mood control pills.

She’s been diagnosed with so many things, she’s lost count.

She grabs five bottles, and heads to her roof… Leaving her jacket inside, she is cold.

But she doesn’t feel it…

As she glares over the city lights, she thinks of her mother who has passed… And her father that she never knew.

No brothers… No sisters… No cousins… No uncles or aunts.

She is alone.

“You’re pathetic…” she says to herself, as she begins to open several of the bottles, and pours some thirty to forty pills into her trembling hand…

“And now you’re gone.”

SWOOSH!

PLINK!

Suddenly a cold wind seems to blow harshly against the front of her body, and all of the pills blow out of her hand, and down a nearby drain.

“You Don’t Know What You Have… Do You,” speaks an unsettling voice from behind her.

Her breath starts to quicken.

“Go ahead and mug me… I’m dead anyway,” she speaks.

Suddenly a cool hand rests on her shoulder, and she turns to face the most attractive man she’s ever seen…

Dark brown hair, deep blue eyes, and skin like no other… It is Nathanieal Barok.

But she does not know this man.

And in truth… He is no man.

“I’ll Tell You What… You Tell Me Your Woes… And I’ll Tell You Why They Don’t Really Exist,” he speaks.

She pulls away, which surprises him…

“I Did Not Release Her… Who Is This Girl”

“Just leave me to it buddy… I don’t need Psyche 101 from some guy on a roof at 3am in the morning…” she speaks as she turns and eyes the ledge of the roof.

“It’s 4am…” he replies as he moves at her too quickly for words, snatches the bottles from her seamlessly, and tosses them off the roof.

She begins to tear up, and makes a move towards leaping off the roof, but he is too quick…

The rest is black.

Layla wakes the next morning in her bed…

The sun is shining… And her coat is hung up.

Chapter III – Changes

“La Fon and I were happy for several years… Well… He was as happy as a Vampire can be I suppose… His kind are definitely a bit of a ‘tormented’ species. But yes… We were happy… Until…

One day while La Fon was off on one of his three day blood frenzies, I was out walking around his family home’s, and/or castle as it were, courtyard, when my brother Thomas suddenly appeared…

“Hello Victoria…” he spoke as he stood in front of me, in my total disbelief. Wearing his long black coat, silly hat, and black and silver beard.

“Thomas? Why are you here? How did you find me? You must go Thomas!” I insisted as I took him by the arm “You must go!”

He pulled away “The question isn’t why I’m here Victoria… It’s why are you here?” he spoke bitterly.

This wouldn’t end well.

The Diary of Victoria Arram~ (Mother of Daisy Arram)

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK

A FAIRLY REMOVED HARBOR

Roy Millon is tied up hanging from the ceiling of a building on a remote harbor.

He’s blind folded, bloodied and bruised.

“Just kill me already you blood sucker!! He’ll never come for me!! He’s too damn smart!!” he spoke loudly into the darkness.

But no one replies.

Suddenly Arram’s Uncle Tom steps into the building.

Cane in one hand… One handed crossbow in the other.

He makes his way towards Roy.

Roy knowing that the Vampires make no noise, barely hears Uncle Tom approaching.

“Are you crazy!!” Roy whispers just loud enough for Uncle Tom to hear.

“Get out of here Thomas… It’s a trap!” Roy insists.

“I know Roy…” Uncle Tom replies, and with a single shot shoots the rope above Roy, dropping him to the ground with a…

THUD!

Uncle Tom looks around alertly as he unties Roy’s hands.

Roy then takes off the blindfold.

“You should have let me die!!” spats Roy.

At this point Uncle Tom takes two cut off shotguns from his back, Roy’s guns, and hands them to him.

“I couldn’t do that Roy… You know that” Uncel Tom explains.

CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!

Suddenly Vincent enters out of the darkness of one of the corners, clapping his hands together in a mockingly fashion.

His eyes glowing greener than ever.

“Bravo… Vampire Slayer… I even tied him up with a rope, as opposed to a chain, just to let you feel like a hero…”

He continues to move towards them “One…”, and Uncle Tom lets off a shot with his crossbow, “More…” but Vincent simply swats the arrow out of the air “Time…”

Suddenly 8 more Vampires step out of the shadows, surrounding Roy and Uncle Tom…

“You’ve got a plan?” inquires Roy.

“My plan only went as far as this point…” replies Uncle Tom.

CHAPTER II – Old Friends

“La Fon And I Were Together Again… And All Was Right… And All Was Good… Until My Brother Tom Felt He Had To Interfere… Why Tom… Why”

The Diary of Victoria Arram~ (Mother of Daisy Arram)

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK

AN UNDERGROUND CLUB

A BACK ROOM

Roy Millon is tied to a post bloodied and bruised, in a room barely lit by a couple candles.

In the Darkness Vincents eyes glow green.

“You really shouldn’t have come… Roy Millon” speaks Vincent in a hiss.

“Yeah well… Somebodies gotta stop you blood suckers” Roy is barely able to reply, as he goes in and out of consciousness.

Suddenly three other Vampires enter the room, the leader of the three has shoulder length brown hair which is in a ponytail… And is named, Philip… Philip’s eyes glowing blue, he walks straight to Roy Millon, and grabs his face in his hand.

“This is it…” Philip says, and lets Roy’s face drop “A pitiful human… I don’t see why you’ve bothered to waste my time Vincent… You’ve captured him… So kill him” he finishes as he starts to head out of the room once more.

“He’s not the problem…” replies Vincent, which brings the leader Philip to a halt.

“Go on…” Philip replies without looking back at Vincent.

“The man he works for is a Vampire Slayer… By the name of Thomas Arram…” Vincent continues.

“Arram?” replies Philip as he looks at Vincent.

“Yes…” with this Vincent walks closer to Philip.

“As in La Fon’s Victoria Arram?” Philip continues.

“Yes… He is her Brother” replies Vincent.

“I see… Well then… Take as many of my men as you need, and keep me informed…” Philip speaks.

“I will…” replies Vincent.

“Oh and Vincent… There’s no need to bring Nolan Prosk into this… So… Be discreet… If that is indeed possible” Philip finishes, and then leaves… The two accompanying Vampires leave with him.

“Discreet… Of course” Vincent says more to himself than Philip.

AN ABANDONED OFFICE BUILDING SEVERAL MILES AWAY

An old style motorcycle drives down into the underground parking.

VROOOM!

Riding the motorcycle is a slim looking female form, in a bright blue helmet, and dark purple leather bike gear.

The rider parks her bike, gets off, leaving the helmet locked to it.

She walks over to the elevator, clicks the button…

CLICK

…the door opens, and she steps in… She turns around, and it’s Arram… Only a couple years older, and her hair is now black, and just below shoulder length.

Strapped on her back is one bad ass looking double crossbow.

The look on her face is not of someone who is pleased to be there.

The door closes.

Chapter I – Indifference

NORTHERN OREGON

ARRAM’S HOME TOWN

THE SMALL ONE BEDROOM HOUSE ARRAM’S UNCLE TOM HAS RENTED FOR HER

3 DAYS AFTER ARRAM’S 17TH BIRTHDAY PARTY
(Which Was Here Allure Chapter XX – Gathering)

Arram is sitting on the roof of the small rental house that her Uncle Tom rents for her.

Below in the driveway is her old 1970 dark blue convertible Mustang.

She is sitting Indian Style, facing the driveway… She is wearing a black, knee length sweater, black jeans, and dark blue All Star high top shoes…

…her dark purple hair falling down over her face… Beneath, her dark eyes are welled up, and cheeks are marked wet with tears…

In front of her, the envelope containing the letter from her Uncle Tom has been opened, and lays upon the roof.

Dear Arram… I know that you will never forgive me for this… But I must tell you the truth… I killed your mother… Not La Fon… It’s difficult to explain exactly what occurred… But suffice it to say, I sought only to protect her from these creatures of the night… And instead, ended her life through my rashness, and rage, meant to be used against La Fon.

I understand why you can no longer hunt La Fon… I would imagine that you, like your mother, feel a very deep connection to him. That is why I shall kill him myself… Though I admit, the last time I tried, ended in your mother’s untimely death… I feel I have no other option.

With this letter I’ve included all the documentation you will need to gain access to your mother’s estate funds…

I’m sorry Arram… I hope someday you can find it in your heart to forgive me… I know that I can never forgive myself…

Love Always… Your Uncle Tom ”

Suddenly her sadness begins to become anger… She  grabs the envelope with the estate documentation in it, stands, and quickly makes her way inside the house…. Leaving her Uncle’s note behind.

HER KITCHEN

Once inside she throws her laptop, and some assorted items into a bright royal blue backpack, and locates a bottle of alcohol one of the kids had snuck into her 17th birthday, and stuffs a rag in it.

She then heads outside to her car, takes out a lighter, lights the rag in the bottle, and tosses the bottle into the car.

She makes her way down the street throwing her hair into a ponytail, anger and tears still in her eyes, behind her, her Mustang catches ablaze, and explodes.

CRACKOOOMM!!

FLASHBACK

She remembers her 16h Birthday, when her Uncle Tom gave her the keys to the Mustang, and how happy she was.

2 YEARS LATER

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK

AN UNDERGROUND CLUB

The club is lit only by blue and green lights which are fastened to female dancers all throughout the club.

The music is dark and rhythmic… Like that of a melancholy heart.

In a reclusive back corner table, is Vincent… (You can Find Vincent Here Allure… Escape)

His white hair down to his shoulders as usual, and eyes glowing just slightly green.

BACK ALLEYWAY

In the back alleyway of the club is the large muscular form of Roy Millon, his once mane of golden hair, now short… He also has a new scar on his face, maybe 2 inches long. (You Can Find Roy Here Allure… Tall… Light… And Armed)

He looks back behind him at the end of the Alley, where an old restored black Cadillac, with darkened windows sits.

Inside the back of it is Arram’s Uncle Tom… (He’s mentioned here Allure… Uncle Tom) He opens his window slightly, and lights his pipe.

———————————————————————————–

ARAM’S HOME TOWN

HER UNCLE TOM’S HUGE ESTATE

Out front in the huge, half circled driveway, was Arram’s dark blue old Mustang…

Arram sat alone in the driver’s seat reading her mother’s second book… “Vampire’s Truth”.

Her hair was now a dark purple, as opposed to royal blue, but she still kept it in a ponytail.

She needed a change, and so she dyed it a new color.

She sits the book down, and gets out of the car.

10 MINUTES LATER

INSIDE HER UNCLE TOM’S ESTATE

Arram sat in her Uncle Tom’s study as he poured her some tea.

“I must say Arram, I am surprised to see you back home…” he spoke, and then made his way to his chair, using his cane.

“I can’t hunt La Fon anymore…” she spoke, whilst gazing blankly out her uncle’s window, watching the birds in the nearby trees.

“I see…” he replied, as he lit his pipe, and tossed the used match into the nearby fireplace.

She looks at him “You knew that La Fon was my mother’s lover…” she spoke.

Uncle Tom took some puffs off his pipe then “Mmm, hmm”

“Why didn’t you tell me…” she spoke more than asked.

With this he stood and made his way over to the window, looking out through the glass.

“It’s complicated” he spoke without looking back at her.

“Yeah, well I’m done” she spoke as she stood.

With this he turned and faced her “Alright…”

“I’m going back to school… Seth has already returned…” she spoke with a rather weak conviction.

“And Roy Milon?” he asked.

“I don’t want to talk about Roy…” she replied, and started towards the door.

“Arram…” he called after her, and she froze in the doorway.

“What…” she replied without looking at him.

Arram was crying, but her uncle couldn’t see her.

“Oh… Nothing” he continued.

And so she left.

10 MINUTES LATER

ARRAM IS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD

Tears still fill her eyes as she thinks of La Fon behind her in that abandoned building (Back In Episode 15)

“Why can’t I get you out of my head” she thinks to herself.

“You killed my mother… I just know you did”

“I just know it…”

BACK AT HER UNCLE TOM’S ESTATE

UNCLE TOM’S STUDY

Uncle Tom sits at his desk, writing a note…

“Dear Arram… I know that you will never forgive me for this… But I must tell you the truth… I killed your mother… Not La Fon… It’s difficult to explain exactly what occurred… But suffice it to say, I sought only to protect her from these creatures of the night… And instead, ended her life through my rashness, and rage, meant to be used against La Fon.

Love Always… Your Uncle Tom

Uncle Tom places the letter into an envelope holding some other documents… He then hands it to his man Zorin “Mail this right away…” and stands.

He grabs onto a large bag, and his cane, and heads to his front door, where he opens it to exit his house… Standing there is Roy Milon.

“Need some help getten La Fon…” speaks Roy, which surprises uncle Tom.

“If so… I’m your man” Roy finishes.

Zorin pulls around the old Rolls Royce, and Roy and Uncle Tom get into it, and the three of them drive off.

Allure… Tough Times

FROM THE PAGES OF “VAMPIRE’S TRUTH”

BOOK II OF THE “VAMPIRE’S PASSION” SERIES

BY MIRANDA BLOOM

“Two Years Have Gone By Since I Saw La Fon… I Miss Him… I Try To Go About My Day To Day Life… I Teach Children Now.”

“But It’s Useless… I Just Can’t Shake Him From My Blood… An Ironic Thing To Say…”

“I Have To Find Him…”

“And So I Shall…”

———————————————–

A NORTH EASTERN TOWN

A HIGH SCHOOL

Roy and Arram are sitting in her dark blue mustang out in front of the school…

Across the street is a mountainous area.

Arrram sits down her “Vampire’s Truth” book.

Roy looks at her.

“So?” he asks.

“She’s looking for La Fon too…” Arram replies thinking Roy’s asking about the book.

“Not the book… Our plan” he replies with a half smile.

“Oh… Sorry… Today’s the last day of school here… I’m sure La Fon will show up for one last buffet, before switching to whatever it is he does during the summer months…” she replies.

“Ok” Roy responds.

“And the Thin Man’s Goons?” he asks.

“All over that hillside across the street… Gunned, and scoped…” she replies.

“Uh huh… What if they shoot one of us?” he questions.

“They won’t…” Arram replies.

“What makes you say that?” Roy replies.

“Because you’ll be with them making sure they don’t” she responds as she grabs her book, puts it in her purse which is around her arm, and gets out of the car making her way towards the middle most point of the school.

Roy jumps out as well “Wait! Arram!!” he yells, but she doesn’t reply.

THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGH SCHOOL

Arram finds the most centralized spot on the campus, sits down, and starts to read her mother’s book once more.

“It Didn’t Take Me Long To Find Him… One Of The Spots La Fon And His Friends Like Best, Is New Orleans.”

“It Was Only A Matter Of Time Before I Would Surely Find Them… Most Likely In The Middle Of One Of These Brothels, Sinking Their Teeth Into The “Local Stock” Of Young Girls”

“You Shouldn’t Have Come Elizabeth” A Voice Suddenly Came From Behind Elizabeth As She Made Her Way Through The New Orleans Streets.

“It Was Vincent… He Was Behind Me… I Could Feel His Glowing Green Eyes Upon The Back Of My Neck…”

“But I Kept On Walking…”

THE HIGH SCHOOL

As the sun started to go down behind the hill, the oh too familiar chill came over Arram.

She sits down the book.

“You Shouldn’t Have Come Daisy Arram…” speaks a voice.

But it wasn’t La Fon, it was Thomas.

I turned to look at his fairly thin form, twirly mustache, and those dark blue glowing eyes.

“He Meant What He Said” he continued as he moved slowly towards me.

“I know” I replied.

He pauses “Yes… I Suspected You Did.”

“So Tell Me Daisly Arram… Why Are You Really Here” he continues, sits beside me, and picks up my book.

His eyes fade to black.

“Vampire’s Truth” he speaks.

“Your Mother Had Some Serious Guts” he continued.

“So La Fon sent you to kill me instead of killing me himself” Arram speaks her head bowed downward.

Thomas sits the book down “Maybe You Haven’t Noticed With All Of Your “Keen” Wit… La Fon Doesn’t WAnt To Kill You…” he finishes.

“Yeah… I’ve noticed” Arram replies.

THE HILLS ACROSS THE STREET

The white suited thin man’s thugs are laid out with sniper rifles, aiming towards where Arram is sitting.

Roy is watching over them.

“What the hell is she doing with that guy?! Where is La Fon” one of the snipers speaks.

“What? Let me see your binoculars” Roy says and snatches a set of binoculars form one of them.

“Oh Sh#$! It’s Thomas” Roy says and drops the binoculars to the ground.

THE HIGH SCHOOL

“Are You Ready To Die Young Arram…” Thomas says as he stands once more before her, his eyes glowing dark blue once more.

“Yeah” she replies with her head still down.

She looks up at him “If you and La Fon could just do me one favor”

Thomas hesitates, as he’s about to strike her down.

“These government men have Seth… I was supposed to deliver them to La Fon to get Seth back… But that obviously didn’t happen…” she explains solemnly.

Thomas’s eyes go black again “What??”

“If you could just make sure Seth is set free… I’d appreciate it… It’s not his fault he’s involved with all of this… It’s mine” she explains, never lifting her head.

Just then, out of nowhere, Roy comes flying through the air at Thomas, but Thomas is too quick and dodges the blow.

“OOOMFFFF!!” Roy grunts as he strikes the ground.

“Where Are These… Government Agents?” questions Thomas.

Arram nonchalantly gestures towards the direction of the hills, and in a flash Thomas is gone.

Arram runs over to Roy, who has stood back up.

“Are you alright Roy?” she asks.

He places both of his hands on her shoulders “You’re not going alone ever… Ever…” he hugs her “Ever again”

She smiles slightly.

Suddenly screaming can be heard from the Hillside across the street

“AHHHHH!!!!”

Roy and Arram look at one another.

“Thomas” they both speak in synch.

Allure… Unholy Alliance

A NORTHERN TOWN

A COFFEE SHOP

10:30am

Arram is sitting alone, stabbing at a blueberry pancake, looking sad, and exceedingly concerned…

When suddenly…

“THUNK” a book lands on the table, titled “Vampire’s Truth”… By Miranda Bloom.

Arram looks up at Roy who tossed it on the table.

“Vampire’s Truth… Book Two of the acclaimed “Vampire’s Lust” Series…” Roy says.

“You bought my mother’s second book?” she asks.

Roy sits down.

“Yeah… Happy Birthday…” he replies.

She smiles slightly.

“That’s not until next week silly…” she picks up the book and puts it in her purse.

“Yeah… Well… Call it research” he replies.

Suddenly she looks sad again…

“It’s my fault Seth is gone… Weather he up and left… Or was taken, or killed… It’s all my fault” she starts to stab the pancake again.

“Have you tried his cell phone again?” Roy asks.

“Yeah… Straight to message again… It must be turned off…” she replies.

“Yeah, or at the bottom of a lake” Roy says without thinking, taking a huge bite of steak.

Arram looks at him.

“Sorry…” he says with steak in his mouth.

Suddenly Arram’s cell phone rings

She has a Maroon 5 Ring Tone.

She looks at the phone…

“It’s Him!!” she answers it.

“Seth!! Where are you??” she asks, her face then fills with dread.

“Who is this, and what have you done with Seth…” she says more than asks.

Roy looks tense.

She hangs up, and starts to get up, grabbing her purse…

“They want us to meet with them…” she says as she heads toward the exit, leaving money on the table.

Roy follows “Who??”

“They didn’t say who they were… They just said they have Seth, and that’s all I need to know” she gets into her Mustang, as does Roy.

VROOOOM!! SCREETCH!!!

And takes off…

AN EMPTY PARKING LOT A FEW MILES AWAY

Arram and Roy stand in front of her Mustang, and about eighty feet away is the black sedan that took Seth…

Standing in front of it is the thin man in the white suit… Smoking a cigarette, which he tosses at the ground and steps on it… With him are the three large thugs in black suits and dark shades, all packing heat, and ready to start shooting should the need arise.

Arram is about to walk to a middle meeting point, and Roy grabs her shoulder…

“You know I could just kill all these guys, and call it a day?” he says, and asks.

“That won’t get us Seth back” she pulls away from his hand, and continues walking, putting her blue hair into a ponytail as she goes, and meets the thin man in the middle.

“Hello Daisy Arram…” the man states.

“What do you want?” she replies.

“Why… La Fon… Of course” he tells her.

10 MINUTES LATER

Arram walks back to the Mustang, and the man returns to the sedan, and they drive away.

“What do they want?” asks Roy as they get back into her car.

“They want me to lead them to La Fon…” she replies.

VROOOOM!!” she starts the engine.

“La Fon?? Didn’t you say La Fon will kill you the next time you follow him?” questions Roy.

Arram looks over at him.

“As long as it gets Seth back, I don’t really care what happens to me…” she says with conviction.

She steps on the gas.

VROOOOM!! SCREETCH!!!
